Art Attack

My Art Was Inspired By Raewyn Harris

The steps we did to complete are art were.

The first step was color combinations on a piece of paper to see what would be good.

Our second step was to draw a draft of our art in pencil.

The third step was doing another draft in chalk and then coloring  in parts to see if the dye would work.

Then we had to do our good copy.We had to draw our design in chalk with thick lines. Then we had to color it in neatly. After that we had to dye it then we had completed our art.

Math

WALT use multiplication facts to solve division problems.
I learnt to use multiplication facts to  solve division equations eg
8 x 5=40
40 / 5=8
My next step is solve problems using simple square numbers and can draw what they represent and make a table to show the pattern numerically,

The Hunter

I can see the trees swaying around the dented in foot prints of animals and the big rocky mountains in the distance with long green grass and crystal clear water.

I can hear footsteps of fellow hunters walking around hunting down animals with their rifles.
I can hear the sound of animals calling in the distance to get attention and the beautiful water flowing down the river.

I can feel my backpack weighing me down like a bucket full of metal. I can feel my rifle hanging by the back of my head  slowly hitting it every time i walk quickly.

I can taste the delicious chocolate bar I just ate that had melted in my mouth while I was eating it.
I can also taste the healthy sandwich that had tomato, onion, cheese, butter, bread, salt and pepper.

Run Bike Run Poem

WALT use poetic verse to recount an event we participated in.

The Run Bike Run event was usual enough; it had the
my friends, the track,  the lake,  the bikes,  and even
the cones.
My friends, my classmates and I did what kids do -
Talked with friends,
Darted around small spiky bushes,
Peddled as quick as the flash,
ate healthy food,
Played like hyenas ,
And cheered our team on,
Doing What kids like to do   .
based on the poem “The Town” by James K Baxter
